The Colony Party Bus & Limo Rentals

For years, going out from The Colony meant leaving The Colony. Grandscape ended that. The district that grew up around Nebraska Furniture Mart on SH-121 now holds Scheels, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, Puttery, the Lava Cantina stage and a long row of restaurants, all inside one walk. Topgolf is a couple of minutes down the road. Hours and show calendars shift, so check them the week of your night.

That density changes what your bus is actually for. It is not hauling you between far-flung stops. It does three things for you:

• Collects everybody from houses and apartments across The Colony, Frisco and Plano, so nobody circles a lot on a show night.
• Holds your stuff between karting, dinner and the band.
• Gets you all home at 1 a.m. without one friend staying sober and resentful.

The other common shape of the night is Grandscape first, then Legacy West or Uptown. Both work. They need very different hours. A Grandscape-only evening usually fits four. Add Dallas and you want five or six, because the Tollway runs 35 to 50 minutes each way after dark.

Grandscape groups run the whole range, from four couples on a Friday to thirty coworkers at Andretti. Our numbers narrow it fast. About two-thirds of North Texas inquiries land between 11 and 30 riders. Concert nights skew smaller, closer to ten.

Past thirty riders your group is the exception, not the rule. Only about 7% of our North Texas inquiries sit in the 31-to-100 band, and most of those are corporate or school trips that ride better on a coach anyway. The Colony wraps the southeastern shore of Lewisville Lake, and a lot of your neighbors book us for daylight, not midnight. Your bus works just as hard at two in the afternoon. Stewart Creek Park is the main shoreline park, The Tribute's golf streets sit right on the water, and Hawaiian Falls pulls summer birthday groups from across Denton County. Park hours and entry rules change seasonally, so confirm them before you set a pickup time.

Lake days behave differently from bar nights:

• They start at noon. Pickup at midday, back at dusk. Ask for extra ice and water, and bring towels for wet swimsuits.
• Park roads pinch. Some shoreline entrances are narrow and gated. Tell us which park and we pick the staging point.
• July Fourth is its own beast. Liberty by the Lake fills the shoreline, closes streets and packs lots early. Drop well before the fireworks, then meet outside the worst of it.

Summer is when those festival requests peak in our wider data, roughly 44% of them, which is exactly when the lake events and outdoor shows stack up here. Your best asset is the Sam Rayburn Tollway running along the south edge of town, feeding the Dallas North Tollway, US-75, I-35E and DFW. Main Street, which is FM 423, carries you north toward Little Elm and Frisco. Everything else is arithmetic.

Evening ranges from central The Colony:

• Grandscape: 5 to 10 minutes from most neighborhoods.
• Legacy West and The Shops at Legacy: 15 to 20 minutes east.
• The Star in Frisco: 15 to 25 minutes, longer when the stadium has something on.
• Uptown Dallas: 35 to 50 minutes. It bunches up south of I-635.
• Deep Ellum: 40 to 55 minutes.
• DFW Airport: 25 to 35 minutes west.
• AT&T Stadium: 45 to 60 minutes, more on game days.

Friday is the tricky one. SH-121 carries commuters until about seven, and Grandscape itself thickens on show nights. If your friends are starting in Frisco or Plano and ending here, that direction runs quicker than the reverse. Saturday is the crowded night by a wide margin, right around 63% of our North Texas requests, so expect full lots and build in a cushion. Tell your group a boarding time fifteen minutes before you mean it.

The Colony makes a good base for a bachelor or bachelorette weekend because the hotels, karting, golf and live music sit close together, and Dallas is near enough for the big night. Out-of-town friends stay near Grandscape and treat Friday as the warm-up. You get one easy night and one ambitious one.

Friday matters more for these groups than for almost anyone else we drive. Nearly three in ten bachelor party requests in our wider data are for a Friday, well above the usual share. So put the Grandscape warm-up there and save Saturday for Uptown or Deep Ellum.

A two-night plan that holds up:

• Friday, 7 p.m.: hotel pickup, karting and games at Andretti, late dinner and a set at Lava Cantina, back by midnight. Four hours.
• Saturday, 6 p.m.: pickup, dinner in Uptown, McKinney Avenue, then Deep Ellum for music, home around 1:30. Six hours.

Grandscape nights get planned on impulse. Somebody spots a band on the calendar, the group chat lights up, and you are calling us on Wednesday for Saturday. About one in five concert requests in our wider data arrive inside a week of the date. On a Tuesday or Thursday show, that is usually fine. On a summer Saturday, it is thin.

Give yourself room on these dates:

1. Liberty by the Lake on July Fourth. The most crowded evening of the year on the shoreline.
2. The Colony High School prom. Spring Saturdays, shared with the other Lewisville ISD schools.
3. December office parties at Grandscape venues. Fridays go first.
4. Any headliner at Lava Cantina or a Frisco venue. Every vehicle within fifteen miles gets a call that week.
