Town Square is your living room, and the nicest problem in town. Restaurants, shops, Town Hall, the Hilton, and a green that fills with families on a warm Saturday and with holiday crowds all December. It is also a grid of short streets lined with parked cars, a crosswalk every few storefronts, and garages no bus will ever enter. Pull a 35-foot vehicle up to a restaurant door at seven on a Saturday and you have just closed a lane.

So we work it like this:

• Limos and Sprinters can stop close to the door, load in a minute or two and move. If your dinner group is 14 or fewer, that is the main reason we point you there.
• Party buses stage on the edge of the square, near Southlake Boulevard or along the outer streets. Your group walks a block, so count that walk in heels when you set the timing.
• The hotel has a porte-cochère built for cars. Bigger vehicles load at the street side instead, which is fine with a little warning.
• December brings the tree lighting and every shopper in Tarrant County. Add fifteen minutes to any pickup here between Thanksgiving and New Year's.

The single best habit for a Town Square night is naming your pickup corner and your time when you book, rather than texting at ten. The square is small, but on a busy evening your driver cannot circle it forever while your table waits on the check.

Carroll ISD sets the rhythm of family life here, and Dragon football sets the fall. Homecoming means Friday night at the stadium and a dance on Saturday. Prom follows in the spring. Both of them mean a group of teenagers in formalwear, a parent who signs, and a ride with no alcohol on it.

How big are those groups, really? Across our Texas inquiry data, nearly four in ten prom and homecoming requests are for ten riders or fewer, and 44% are for 11 to 20. Only a small slice runs past twenty. So the typical Southlake dance group is a friend circle in one mid-size vehicle, not half a class.

• Five couples or fewer. A 14-passenger stretch limousine, with room left for gowns and the boxes the flowers came in.
• Eleven to twenty students. A 24-passenger party bus, because formalwear takes more space than a headcount suggests.
• Merged groups past 24. A 32-passenger party bus, or two vehicles if the after-party plans split.

Some parents ask about a Sprinter, and they are right that it photographs beautifully and seats everyone upright. It is a good choice. Choosing the vehicle is what Southlake callers spend the most time on, and you are not being fussy. It is the question that decides how the whole evening feels. Here it depends less on your headcount than on what the night actually is.

Formal limousines are a thinner slice of the market than people assume: across our North Texas inquiry data, fewer than one request in ten that names a vehicle asks for one. SH-114 is your main artery, running east toward the airport, Grapevine and Dallas, west toward the speedway and I-35W. SH-121 peels off near Grapevine for Fort Worth and Plano. Inside town, Southlake Boulevard, Kimball and White Chapel carry almost everything. These are realistic evening ranges.

Two places squeeze. SH-114 through the SH-121 interchange by Grapevine on a Friday evening, and anything eastbound into Dallas after four. The corporate campuses along SH-114 give us a steady weekday side here, and those rides ask for different things than a party does. On-time arrivals, a clean vehicle, a receipt your accounting team can read, and a driver who knows the difference between a client dinner and a celebration.

What Southlake companies ask us for most:

• Airport groups. A visiting team lands at DFW and needs Town Square or a campus. The terminals are 15 to 20 minutes out, and the Airport Transfer Planner sets your curb time from the flight and the bag count.
• Client dinners. A stretch limo or Sprinter from your office to a Town Square steakhouse and back to the hotel.
• Team outings. A party bus for the holiday dinner or an evening in Fort Worth, with the office lot as your single pickup.

• 8:30 p.m. Two guests to the Hilton, four to DFW for a late flight.

Southlake families plan further ahead than most, and dance season pays you back for it. Across our Texas inquiry data, 46% of prom and homecoming requests arrive more than a month out, while about one in six waits until the last two weeks. The early group chooses its vehicle. The late group takes whatever is left on a spring Saturday that four districts are sharing.

Those are patterns in what people ask for, not a promise about any particular date. For a Carroll dance, call as soon as the school posts it. For a corporate night or a rehearsal dinner, a few weeks usually works, though Fridays and Saturdays in spring and fall go first.

The request that gets you a fast, accurate answer has four things in it:

1. The occasion, the date, and the one time that cannot move.
2. Your headcount, and whether they are students, adults or clients.
3. Pickup addresses, gate codes included.
4. Every stop in order, especially the name of the Town Square restaurant.
