The hinge of the Mid-Cities, and your best asset
Look at a map and your town is the hinge. Loop 820 curls around the west side toward North Richland Hills. SH-183 runs through toward Euless and Fort Worth. SH-121 peels off to Bedford and Grapevine. North East Mall sits right in the knot.
So when your friend group is scattered across four suburbs, you are the one place everybody reaches in fifteen minutes. That is a real advantage and most groups waste it.
Almost every trip we plan as your Hurst party bus company opens with the same words: we'll all meet at. Sometimes it is a parent's house off Precinct Line Road. Sometimes a restaurant near the mall, because the birthday dinner comes first. Sometimes Chisholm Park, where an afternoon family party hands off to a night out for the adults.
The people riding out of here skew young and celebratory. Twenty-first birthdays. Sweet sixteens. Prom groups from L.D. Bell High School in HEB ISD. Students from Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus. Friend groups pointed at a show in Fort Worth or Arlington.
That mix shapes everything on this page: smaller groups than you expect, shorter planning windows than you would like, and a clear line between who is 21 and who is not. Your driver holds that line so you do not have to.
Count the yeses before you count seats

Nearly every birthday call starts with a question about the biggest bus. Then we count names together and the number drops. Across our historical North Texas inquiry data, 82% of birthday inquiries were for 20 passengers or fewer, and a third were for ten or fewer. The 21-to-30 band is the exception, not the rule.
Here is where your headcount usually lands:
- 6 to 10 friends: a 10-passenger stretch limo, which also suits a dinner-and-dessert birthday with the grandparents along.
- 11 to 16: a 16-passenger party bus, with standing room and a sound system that earns its name.
- 17 to 20: a 20-passenger party bus, comfortable rather than packed.
- 21 to 30: a 26-passenger party bus, for the night two friend groups merged.
Getting this right matters because you pay per vehicle, not per seat. Fourteen people in a 30-passenger bus are paying for sixteen empty ones, and a half-empty cabin never feels like a party anyway.
The Vehicle Size Matcher, sitting in the middle of this page, takes your headcount and the kind of night you are planning and hands you two sizes to compare. Run it before you ask anyone for money.

Dinner close to home, then a ride out
That is the shape of most Hurst nights, and it is a good shape. You eat somewhere familiar, then the driving problem becomes somebody else's. Ranges below run from central Hurst on an ordinary evening.
| Destination | Typical drive | Vehicle that fits | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|---|
| North East Mall area restaurants | 5–10 min | Any size | Pick one named entrance as the meeting spot |
| Fort Worth Stockyards and Billy Bob's Texas | 20–35 min via Loop 820 | 20-passenger party bus | Saturday nights fill the Stockyards lots early |
| Sundance Square and West 7th | 20–30 min via SH-121 | 16 to 26-passenger bus | Driver drops on a side street and stages nearby |
| Dickies Arena concerts | 25–35 min | 20 to 30-passenger bus | Set the return time 30 minutes after the show |
| Arlington stadiums and Texas Live! | 20–30 min via SH-360 | 26 to 30-passenger bus | Game and concert days need real extra time |
| Uptown or Deep Ellum, Dallas | 30–45 min via SH-183 | 20-passenger party bus | The ride is the pre-party, so bring the playlist |
Plenty of your neighbors also run east to Grapevine for the December lights, and west to Fort Worth through rodeo season. If your night has three or four stops rather than one, our bar crawl party bus guide covers pacing and drop points so you are not sprinting between bars.
Friends over in North Richland Hills are an easy second pickup on the way west, and it costs you maybe ten minutes.

Prom night, from one photo house to the drop

Prom groups are the smallest regular groups we see anywhere. Across our historical North Texas inquiry data, 39% of prom or homecoming inquiries were for ten riders or fewer, well above the share for all trips. The calendar is tight as well: across our historical Texas inquiry data, 44% of prom and homecoming inquiries were for April.
Two things follow from that. A limo is often exactly right for five couples, and a 20-passenger bus handles it when the friend group merges. And April Saturdays are the ones every school in the county is asking about, so your date is contested before you pick it.
Four things that make a Hurst prom night work:
- One photo house. Pick a home, or Chisholm Park, and have every student dropped there by a parent. Four pickups eat the time your group wanted at dinner.
- A parent signs. Students under 18 cannot, and whoever signs is the contact we call that night.
- No alcohol, none. Any trip carrying minors is dry, and your driver will end the ride rather than bend on it.
- Decide the after-party now. One house, or a drop at every address? That choice changes your end time by an hour.
The prom party bus guide has the full timeline and a checklist for parents. The same plan works for homecoming in the fall, just with less notice.

Meet at the mall means twenty different places
Pickups here are easy, with a few details that save you three phone calls on the night.
- North East Mall. The lots are enormous, which is the whole problem. Pick one named entrance or anchor store, send it to your group, and send it to us with the quote request. A large vehicle loads at the edge of the lot, not at the doors.
- Chisholm Park and the Hurst Conference Center. Both have parking a mid-size bus can use. At the conference center, ask the event staff where charters should wait during a banquet.
- Neighborhood streets. Most of your town is established blocks with standard-width streets and rear alleys. A 20 to 30-passenger bus loads at the curb without drama. Just keep the space in front of the house clear for a few minutes.
- Apartment complexes near the loop. A gated entry often will not take a long vehicle. Meet at the front gate or the leasing office instead and save everyone the three-point turn.
Most birthday groups want a four-hour block, and across our historical group-transportation inquiry data 44% of birthday inquiries asked for exactly four hours. One meeting point is the single thing that keeps your four-hour night inside four hours.

Booking late is normal here if you do it right
Birthday planners move fast, and you are probably one of them. Across our historical North Texas inquiry data, 59% of birthday inquiries arrived within 30 days of the party, and Saturdays drew 73% of them. Short notice plus the same night of the week is exactly where people get stuck.
Three habits that get you unstuck:
- Offer a Friday. Friday birthdays are easier to place and the bars are just as busy. Nobody has ever been disappointed by a Friday.
- Send a complete request the first time. Date, headcount, pickup address, stops, end time. The Quote Request Builder puts all of it in one message so you are not trading emails for three days.
- Collect the money before the deposit. The Cost Split Calculator gives each friend a number, so the birthday person is not quietly funding the whole bus.
