Friend groups come in two sizes: the close circle and the everybody-invite. Our data sees both clearly. Across North Texas, 47% of requests are for 11 to 20 riders, and close to three in ten are for ten or fewer. • Bishop Arts, start to finish. Arrive before sunset for the shops, stay for dinner and a wine bar. Everything is walkable once you are dropped, and the bus reappears when you are done. Perfect when your group wants conversation, not a dance floor.
• Design District dinner, Deep Ellum music. A chef-driven dinner, then live music a few miles east. Good pick when half of you want food and the other half want a band.
• Lower Greenville patios. The relaxed option for a weeknight or a long Sunday, with rooftops and patios close enough to walk between.

1. 6:30 p.m. First pickup. If your friends are scattered across suburbs, pick one house and have a drink there while everyone arrives.
2. 7:15 p.m. Dinner. Give a large party ninety full minutes. Almost no kitchen turns a table of twelve faster than that.
3. 9:00 p.m. Stop two: cocktails, a rooftop, a wine bar. The bus stages nearby and the driver texts when he is back at the door.
4. 10:30 p.m. Stop three: dancing or live music, for whoever is still in.
5. 11:30 p.m. Home. Drop-offs start with whoever lives farthest out.
6. Midnight. Last friend at her front door. Booking ends.

Saturday wins by a mile. Across North Texas, 63% of dated requests are for a Saturday. If your girls night is not tied to a particular date, that is useful intelligence. A Thursday or Friday draws far fewer requests, and restaurants will seat a table of twelve far more happily on those nights too.

On lead time, about a quarter of North Texas requests arrive 15 to 30 days ahead, which is exactly how friend groups plan in real life. Somebody floats a date three or four weeks out, everyone confirms, and then the organizer starts making calls. Three to four weeks is workable most of the year.

Give yourself more room in December, around Valentine's weekend, and on spring Saturdays when proms and weddings are competing for the same vehicles. Those are the four times of year when three weeks is thin.

• Bags and coats: leave them on the vehicle between stops. Keep wallets and phones with you.
