• 5:00 p.m. After the ceremony the limo runs the group to Adriatica Village for golden-hour portraits while guests enjoy cocktail hour.
• 6:15 p.m. Drop at the reception for the entrance. Released there, or held for your send-off.

Fort Worth church, Stockyards reception

More than four in five wedding groups across the wider network we work with name a party bus when they name a vehicle. Couples ask for buses because a bride in a cathedral-length gown can walk up steps far more easily than she can fold herself into a limousine door. That does not make the bus right for every wedding, but you should know the room you are arguing with.

A split we arrange often: the bride and her side take a vehicle she can board comfortably, and the limo carries the groomsmen and the parents. Tell us your dress silhouette when you call. It is a real planning factor, not a silly question, and it changes what we recommend.

The bench in a limousine is rated by width, not by tuxedo. For a wedding party we plan on these numbers:

• 20 to 22 adults in suits and knee- or tea-length dresses.
• 18 to 20 once your bridesmaids are in floor-length gowns carrying bouquets.
• Two fewer again if the bride rides along in a ball gown or anything with a train.
• Photographers count as riders. Two shooters with camera bags use three seats between them.

If those adjustments push you past the limit, you have two clean options: step up a size, or send the ushers and the second shooter by car. What we would never suggest is squeezing. Twenty-four people pressed together for forty minutes on US-75 arrive wrinkled and short-tempered, which rather defeats the point of the car.

Your total reflects the vehicle class, the hours including any waiting, the distance between stops, and the date. When does one big limo lose to two smaller vehicles? When your two sides start in different places.
